The franchisor and franchisee relationship is a two way street, so it’s essential that you are able to communicate openly and honestly.
A team player
You must like the idea of being part of a bigger network; Franchising works because of collaboration. To run your own business, you really need to believe in the product or service you’re selling and to know that there is a need out there in the market for it. If you are confident about the franchise product or service that you’re offering, then you will be passionate about selling it and clients will pick up on that.
A People Person
If your chosen business is dealing with people then you will need good people skills. A genuine liking of meeting and talking to people and a good product or service means that your potential clients will see your integrity and trust you to deliver what you say you will.
